Salma Hayek I Don t Have A Need For Marriage

Spanish spitfires Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz recently co-starred in a western called “Bandidas” that didn’t get a whole lot of airplay, mostly because it kinda sucked donkey balls. But you know what didn’t suck? Salma Hayek and Penelope Cruz wearing chaps and running around a turn-of-the-century Mexico shooting people and pretending to make out while falling into rivers that, conveniently, left them dripping wet in see-through clothes. Yup, the producers of “Bandidas” were definitely selling the story. No, really. Salma Hayeks top secret beauty line Beauty
Mar 21, 2009
Salma Hayek is busy working on a new beauty venture, but didn’t want to offer any details about it in a conversation with WWD.

Hayek —who spoke while hosting a book party for her friend and hairstylist Robert Vetica at Beso restaurant in Hollywood—said, "I shouldn't be talking about this.

I am trying to develop a line with a drugstore. I have been doing research for two or three years. My approach is how we can get the essence of the really expensive [products] for everyone."

Hayek selling luxury beauty products at a discount sounds brilliant and exciting to us. Still, there is no point in pushing her when she doesn’t want to give up the goods.

We already know how much she likes to keep secrets. Stay tuned for more details as they come in.

Salma Hayek s Domestic Violence Experience

Salma Hayek leaped at the chance to support a domestic violence campaign, after witnessing abuse as a child. Hayek was shocked to see her father attacked after he had tried to intervene in a fight in the streets between a husband and wife.
The 54 actress - who is spokes model for a new V-Day campaign - tells Glamour magazine, "The first time I saw domestic violence firsthand was when I was in Mexico, taking a walk with my family, and we came upon a man beating up this woman.”
"My father intervened and fought the man and won. I remember thinking, 'Oh my God, my father is a hero.' Then the woman turned around and started beating up my father. I couldn't comprehend what was happening. After that I became very intrigued with what makes a woman stay in an abusive relationship. How does her spirit break?"
