A famous Brazilian model, that is what Alessandra Ambrosio is...She is a beautiful and well accomplished model. She was born on April 11, 1981 in Erexim, Brazil. Alessandra Ambrosio was destined to be a model. This led her to take modeling lessons in Brazil. She then participated in the Elite's look of the year contest in 1996. This when she landed up with a contract with Elite model Management. Success path started for Alessandra when she was signed up with Guess?. This was not the end. She also graced the covers of magazines such as Capricho, Desfile, Elle (Brazil), Wallpaper, and Harper's Bazaar. She was also quite successful with the fashion shows.
She has walked the ramp for the designers like Laura Biagiotti, Christian Lacroix, Byblos, Fendi, Issey Miyake, Kenzo, Christian Dior, Nicole Miller, and Oscar de la Renta, among others. She then entered into contract with Revlon cosmetics, Gap and then Calvin Klein eye wear and then Giorgio Armani. Alessandra is just not satisfied with her high rise modelling portfolio and is also interested in pursuing a University degree. On a personal note Alessandra is very modest and she still loves her small town. She loves spending time with her boyfriend Jayson Lee. She also enjoys sand-boarding and lounging on the beach listening to Brazilian music.
