Minissha Lamba adopts veteran actor Boman Irani as her father
Mar 21, 2009
Minissha Lamba and Boman Irani are shering wonderful chemistry, in paternal terms at least! The petite beauty is working in the uopcoming movie ‘Abba Ka Kuan’ with the veteran actor Irani, who plays her father. While Boman plays her father, addressed by Minissha as ‘Abba’, she is so taken up by the actor’s persona that their onscreen warmth is spilling offscreen as well. Talking to an entertainment website, Minissha confesses, “Literally I adopted Boman as my father while we were off the sets. I would call him Abba all the time and he too would call me by the name of the character I play. The bond between the father and the daughter would be played out post pack up every evening, so much so that when something had to be done, I would take permission from Abba.” While the game is having wonderful effects on their performance, it is doing wonders to their personal equation, too. Minissha further adds, “It was one of the most unique relationships I've had with any co-star to date. The moment I wouldn't find Boman around, I'd be looking for him. That's how the rapport was.” If this kind of work-dedication is lives in real life, some very natural acting is guaranteed no doubt.

Minissha sheds tears
Mar 21, 2009
The Kidnap glam doll Minissha Lamba turned emotional during the reality show, Knights and the Angels, produced by Shahrukh Khan’s production house. Dressed in indigo, Minissha brought live to the show. She accumulated some good compliments from the audiences, judges and the contestants for her lively and positive attitude and off course for her vibrant look. She entertained herself a lot at the show by grooving with the contestants. But soon Minissha turned emotional as she had to be a part of the elimination round of the cheerleaders. The episode was bit deviant from the previous episodes as the tears in the eyes of the eliminated contestants also moved Minnisha into tears. Red Chillies Idiot Box creative head non-fiction Pranjal Khandhdiya says, “We have been getting good feedback for Knight and Angels. Minnisha enjoyed being part of the show and made the episode special with her vibrant presence as the celebrity judge” The contestants were judged based on their positive attitude, energy level, fun etc. The show is judged by Kolkatta Knight Riders captain Sourav Ganguly and Murli Kartik.

Minisshas floored by the Men in UniformMinisshas floored by the Men in Uniform

The very pretty Minissha Lamba was recently invited by the Navy to attend their awards ceremony which was held at the Navy Nagar in Colaba. We hear that the actress was fascinated by the men in uniforms! Sources say that Minissha really enjoyed herself, made a lot of friends and was in awe of the heroes of the sea. Apparently this was the first time ever she interacted with the naval force and was completely blown away! The actress has a lot of respect for the officers and was in high spirits throughout the night. When we asked the actress about her naval experience she said, “Suddenly what we do pales insignificance compared to how the heroes of our nation protect us. I salute their bravery; it’s an absolute honour to be here”. Well, that not all! On being extended an invitation, Minissha also promised to visit the navy ships over the weekend! Aftab Shivdasani and Jackie Shroff too were among the celebrities who were present there. Well, now that’s what we call a Navy Connection! -Sampurn Media http://www.thaindian.com

Minissha Lambas morning raga Apr 17, 2009 Minissha is one lady who loves her beauty sleep. So why is it that nowadays the lady is rising early and looks forward to her day? A little birdie told us that the reason behind this early ‘rise n shine’ is none other than a mysterious neighbour who plays the flute every morning. The lilting notes of the flute are so melodious that Minissha loves waking up early just to spend a few moments standing by the window and listening to the sweet sounds wafting in. Minissha’s guessing that the neighbour must be a musician doing Riyaaz every morning… But Minissha sure seems caught under a melodious spell. Well, this sounds like a scene straight out of a film .But Minissha |
