Bollywood innocent actress Manisha koirala was born on 16 August, 1970. Her birth name is Manisha B Koirala and her nick name is Manya and Manu. She belongs to a Nepali Koirala family.
After completing school Manisha’s plan was to become doctor but instead of becoming doctor she came in modeling, than she did some Nepali movies. Her first debut bollywood movie was ‘First love letter’ in 1991.
She has obtained a Diploma in Film Making from New York, U.S.A., and is a member of the Independent Film-Makers Society. She is also the goodwill ambassador on U.N.F.P.A.. She is actively involved in bettering the status of women, women’s rights, prevention of violence against women, as well as in the active prevention human trafficking, especially Nepali women.
Manisha has won 5 awards from ‘Bombay’, ‘Khamoshi’, ‘The musical’, ‘Company’, and ‘Escape from talibaan’.
