Vinu Chakravarthy says that he will go to the court if the film is made on Silk Smitha

The famous glamorous Silk Smitha committed suicide many years back. Now a film based on her life is being produced in Hindi with the title Dirty Picture. Ektha Kapoor is producing this film. The life of Smitha is also being made in Tamil by Vinu Chakravarthy. Namitha is donning the role of Silk Smitha in the film.
Vinu Chakravarthy who had introduced Silk Smitha in the film Vandi Chakkaram has mentioned that a film on Silk Smitha should not be made without consulting him.
But producer Ektha Kapoor has stated that there is no necessity for him to show the story of the film to Vinu Chakravarthy and that he will meet him in the Court.


Vini Chakravarthy while replying to this said," I only have the right to make the film on Silk Smitha. Namitha has been signed to do the role of Silk Smitha. I am not bothered about the statement of Ektha Kapoor.
I know his father Jithendra. When the film goes to Mumbai Censor Board, I will protest that this film should not be cleared. I will ask them to stay the release of the film. Ektha Kapoor says that he will meet me in the Court. I will also file against him in the Court."
