Vaanavil Uma to act in films

 Actress Uma quit acting after her marriage. Now she has decided to act in films again. Actress Uma made her debut though the Tamil film Vaanavil . She is the elder daughter of actress Sumithra .
She had acted in few films including Thendral, Sokkathangam and Illakanam. She was stubborn that she will not act in glamour roles and she was donning only homely roles. Since she did not get the expected offers she quit acting and got married. Like other actresses, she also said that she won’t be acting in films after her marriage.
After two years of marriage she has decided to act in films. Now she is in search of offers.
