Taapsee learns Kathakali

Director Kannan who directed Vandhan Vendran while speaking about this film said," The hero is stubborn and the heroine wants to achieve their goal without losing anything in their life. We took special permission from forest department for shooting in this place. They had stipulated various conditions like that we should not cut the trees or light fire there. We have brought female folk dancers from Kerala who are Kathakali exponents.
We have also brought kalari artists from Kerala. This song and dance sequence choreographed by Dinesh master will be the highlight of the film.
Since the dance is of the traditional Kerala one, Taapsee had gone to Kerala to learn this dance from a renowned teacher. Only after learning this dance, she participated in this dance. The shooting also took place in the newly bridge in Mumbai which was built over the sea from Worli to Bandra."
