Biography
Tarun entered Film industry as a child artist with the movie Anjali, in 1990, directed by Maniratnam. He won awards and accolades for his performace in Anjali. As a child artist, he got international recognition and awards. For Abhayam, malayalam movie directed by Santosh Sivan, Tarun got national award and also went to Japan when the movie got nominated for Fukuoka international film festival in 1993.. He got a chance to take picture with Jackie Chan. He likes the picture so much that it is framed in his home.

Tarun came back as hero with Nuvve Kavali in the year 2000. Nuvve Kavali, directed by Vijayabhaskar and produced by Ramoji Rao, became one of the biggest hits of that year.

Tarun acted in a total of 17 movies as child artist spanning different languages including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Oriya. As a child artist his filmography included
Telugu - Aditya369, Teja, Manasu mamata, Bujjigadi babai, Todu Dongalu, Pillalu diddina kapuram, Thalli thandrulu, Surya IPS, Vajram.
Malayalam movies - Abhayam, Jhon Don Bosco, My dear Muddacchan.
Tamil movies - Anjali, Meera
Oriya Movies - Muh Kaanore
