Ranbir Kapoor born in September 28 1982 in Mumbai, India. He is the son of actors Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh, great-grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor and grandson of Raj Kapoor, nephew of Actor Randhir Kapoor, cousin of This six-footer studied at Bombay Scottish and his college years were at Le Strasberg  Institute.He donned the hat of an assistant director on the sets of Prem Granth, Aa Ab Laut Chalen and the award winning Black.
His debut movie as an actor was Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Saawariya. Film creates huge hype where he starred opposite another newcomer Sonam Kapoor, a childhood friend and a star daughter of AnilKapoor. The movie did not make a big splash but his presence was definitely felt and he won the Filmfare Best Male Debut award.His second movie Bachna Hai Haseeno released in 2008, in which he played a playboy opposite Minisha Lamba, Deepika Padukone and Bipash Basu. The response to the movie was fifty fifty. His 2009 movies are Wake Up Sid with Konkana Sen, Ajab Prem Ki Gazab Kahani and Rajneeti with Katrina Kaif.Ranbir kapoor also named as Prince charming, he is gping to play role of ‘Sardar Saleman’ in his upcoming movie.
